Is there a quick way to remove an oil paint stain from a shirt?

Or any way, for that matter? Is there a quick way to remove an oil paint stain from a shirt?
Surprisingly oil base is easier that water base (which is impossible). First try a strong solvent like acetone, nail polish remover (sometimes the same) if not, try paint remover and there are many different types depending on how badly you want this paint out.

Turpentine, kerosene and paint thinner work great the first few hours. But not once it has dried. Is there a quick way to remove an oil paint stain from a shirt?
i dont think so, because we just painted our house and unfortunately paint stain at the end of my shirt, i did use kerosene and try to scrub it, and my husband tried other things no result so what i did i cut my shirt and sew it again.
turpentine.
yes with white spirits, pour a little on cotton wool, and dab , once the stain as been removed rinse straight away in cold water then with your on washing powder or liquid wash by hand rinse well
once oil based paint is on a fabric specially if its made of cotton it wont come off .........you might as well get you a new shirt!
the only thing that might get it out is turpentine, and it may still leave a stain....
