How often should i change the transmission oil?

my car is a 98 VW Passat. It's a inline-4, 1.8 L with turbo.How often should i change the transmission oil?

It is a cheap way to extend the life of your transmission--do it once a year and you will see that savings in the long run.
you should probably change it in like 4 or 5 months depending on how you car runs and how often u drive it.if u really want to know check the 2 links.

all cars are different, it should say in your manual. usually around 60-75k miles if not more...
