What oil is best to use when making traditional Persian white rice with saffron?

So I'm trying to make the simple traditional Persian rice: white basmati rice with a little saffron and of course, crispy tahdig on the bottom. What is the best oil to use when making this? Everywhere I look says ';cooking oil';... is that olive oil, vegetable oil, corn oil, what? Thank you! What oil is best to use when making traditional Persian white rice with saffron?
You can use the following:

Olive Oil (Don't cook with Extra Virgin oil, cause it'll burn. Extra virgin is good to add in any salad dressing)

Canola Oil

Safflower OIl

Corn Oil

Any are fine, however, olive oil is one of the more healthier one to use. What oil is best to use when making traditional Persian white rice with saffron?
traditional persian rice is made with clarified butter (also known as ghee). The second choice is vegetable oil, and sometimes margarine/butter can be used as a third choice
Vegtable oil, but this is for indian rice, which pretty much is the same.
Extra virgin olive oil
