My fryer was dropped today, and then cleaned up with my kitchen towels. Yeah, Ugh.
I've ran them through the wash in hot water with twice the normal amount of laundry detergent, but they are still oily. What can I put in the wash to get it out? I'm trying again now with dish washing liquid. It's vegetable oil if that makes any difference.
ThanksWhat is the best way to remove oil from laundry?
This is a tough one, dry Dawn dish washing liquid, when my son worked in a meat packing plant this really helped get the animal grease out of his clothes but you might have to wash them several times or even soak them overnight. What is the best way to remove oil from laundry?
Sounds crazy but add a can of CocaCola (not Pepsi) to your wash load with the detergent. It cuts thru the grease.
Another good stain remover is Fels Naptha bar soap. It's old fashioned but it works. You can use both at the same time but the Coke works wonders.
Try washing them with Dawn Liquid dish. Dawn is suppose to cut the grease. Click below this website may also help. Good Luck!!!
lestoil it is not found every where but it works very well for oil in the washer.
