Who is the best 2008 presidential candidate for oil field workers?

Just a general question because many people have their own opinions. Do you think that whoever becomes president can have an impact on the oil field?Who is the best 2008 presidential candidate for oil field workers?
Hillary!!!Who is the best 2008 presidential candidate for oil field workers?
I believe I read that Mitt Romney is for drilling in ANWR to help our country be energy independent.
YES WE CAN / OBAMA

It is thought Fight that OBAMA dealing with

Too much Hait for him out of all

Plus Both Clinton's

Bill %26amp; Hillary Clinton

Who are campaining for each other and for one another.

Trying to get Back to the white Again
If you believe that drilling in ANWAR is the biggest indicator, then your vote is either Ron Paul or Cox (unsure who that is, source was a test here: http://www.dehp.net/candidate/index.php)

If you believe that deregulation means more prosperity in general and thus for oil field workers, too, you might like Paul again who basically thinks the fewer Federal regs the better.

If you think that favoring oil field workers means being ';pro-union'; then Dems TRADITIONALLY get most of the hype for that.
Look at Thompson, he wants to drill in Alaska, and off shore, as does Romney.

Drilling in Alaska, and offshore will lower gas prices and open up tons of jobs to Americans, not just Alaska, but every state.
ron paul
Hillary!
Ron Paul
edwards he is against cooperate mighty, but for all the workers, so

What is the cheapest way to create energy in a place where you don't have oil or natural gas or coal?

If you build any of the renewable energy sources it would cost a lot, although, which's the cheapest? What is the cheapest way to create energy in a place where you don't have oil or natural gas or coal?
I would go solar. It does cost more in the beginning but you see the savings and get your money back quickly. What is the cheapest way to create energy in a place where you don't have oil or natural gas or coal?
Solar energy is very afordable. I have a solar powered calculator. However if it is dark or cloudy... it doesn't work. It is very eco friednly.
two ways to look at it to can go wind mill but there is inconsistency in the wind. solar is next as long as it is not like seattle with alot of clouds. then there is hydro electric then again continual running water from falls or major river
You cannot create energy, only convert it from one form to another. The specific answer will depend on your specfic location.
What do you have? If you have all the sun, wind and water head you need, water power is the cheapest way to produce renewable electricity.
The CHEAPEST way is to ship in oil from someplace else. But I bet that isn't what you want to hear. The CHEAPEST non oil way is hydroelectric; build a dam and water powered generators.
Did you know that you can go to any library and see how to build solar panels very cheaply. The batteries are the expensive part, but the new ones hold so much more energy. Wind turbines are good.
Solar, wind and water energy sources are pretty cheap because they're readily available. You can read about them here:

http://www.greenstudentu.com/energy.aspx
It varies with the location. You can't use tidal energy in the middle of the Sahara, biomass in Antarctica, or solar where it rains almost every day.

After you make soap, first you dissolved vegetable oil in ethanol. what happens to ethanol during the reaction

I measure 23ml of vegetable oil into a 250-ml flask. add 20ml of ethyl alcohol,20ml of sodium hydroxide and stir under heat for 20 minute. then put it in a flask with ice cold H2O to cool it. then add150 ml of saturated sodium chloride to the soap mixture while stirring.and vacuum the top of the H2O off the top. After you make soap, first you dissolved vegetable oil in ethanol. what happens to ethanol during the reaction
The ethanol is put inside just to increase the overall fat - water NaOH surface. (because the ethanol dissolves both of them). The hydrolysis of the fat happens only on this surface, so it makes the reaction proceed faster. Only change that could happen is esterification of fatty acids, that are created, but the environment is too alkaline for this to happen (FA salts are unreactive.) So no chemical change happens. Also the soap is less soluble in the ethanol than in the water so it help to salt-out the soap. After you make soap, first you dissolved vegetable oil in ethanol. what happens to ethanol during the reaction
doesnt it get changed to glycerol?

How would I make a Biofuel from cooking oil to make gasoline?

I have been told that there is a process that you can purchase to make your own fuel for cars from cooking used cooking oil. You will need a 2 thousand gallon tank and whatever else is needed. What is the difference between watercolor brushes and oil brushes?

Can I use a watercolor brush with oil paints or vice-versa?What is the difference between watercolor brushes and oil brushes?
Traditionally, most watercolor artists prefer Sable, which is a very dense short-handled brush with extremely fine hairs, which accounts for their high price. ';Kolinsky'; sable is the more expensive of the sables (the other being ';red sable';), though it is not a true sable and it is known for its resiliency and bounce.

Sables are made for either watercolor OR oils and difference is usually in the shape and size of the brush. Short-handled brushes are made for watercolor, though some highly detailed oil paintings have incorporated their use.

Watercolor brushes also have the largest variety of brush sizes and shapes available. The most popular are: Rounds, Flats, Filberts, Mops, and Wash Brushes.

Because of the amount of solvents used in oils, many people prefer to use horse bristle, badger, or synthetic blend brushes. These are usually much cheaper than sable and easily replaced. Oil brushes only come in the following shapes: Rounds, Flats, Brights, Filberts, and Fans.

I would not recommend using horse bristle in watercolor. They don't hold water well and they also shed quite a bit.

Synthetics are starting to become a lot better nowadays so if you are an animal lover like me, you'll love these totally vegan brushes. Synthetics actually come in even more shapes and sizes though personally (and I hate to admit it) I think sables and sable blends are the best brushes for either watercolor or oils. Keep in mind, they do kill a lot of sables and weasels for these brushes (not to mention for the fur trade).

Here is one simple rule to follow for brush care: separate your brushes according to medium. In other words, have a set that you'd use for oils and another set for your watercolors. What is the difference between watercolor brushes and oil brushes?
i have used brushes labeled as oil or acrylic brushes for water color and been fine, the main difference is the handles...and those crappy plastic bristle brushes that come with the cake style water color packages (you can also get better watercolors that come in tubes) i'd never use that brush for anything! so, yeah, a brush is a brush. they just try to specialize them for different types of artwork to make it easier for you, and also i believe it is a marketing thing, but you can use the brushes for whatever you want, there will be no adverse effects:) be careful with those water colors! it is the hardest paint to work with!

there's some Q and A here also on the same topic:

http://www.cheapjoes.com/art-supplies/2_鈥?/a>
Usually oil brushes use a natural bristle, whereas water color brushes have become synthetic materials for the bristles. You could use a water color brush for oils and vice-versa, but I don't think you'd like the results.

  • How do i switch to running on synthetic oil?

Just flush everything out(drain it) and then add synthetic? I have heard it makes your engine last longer? Is it really pricy oil?(synthetic)

I want to get as much life as i can out of my 96 sho v8 engine what are some tips to do so..She is now about 225,000 kilometers, always serviced, regular tune ups and oil changes, how can i extend her life, and actually how many more Ks(kilometers) could i get out of this motor?

Thanks a lotHow do i switch to running on synthetic oil?
Just keep doing your regular tune ups and oil changes and your car will be fine. Asking about engine life is like asking how long you have to live, impossible to determine.

Synthetic oils are expensive compared to dino oil.

How do i switch to running on synthetic oil?
just drain it and put the synthetic in her. but at 225,000 km is there a point? how well do you drive your car? if you really take care of it, id think you could make it to 300,000k and the switch might be worth it. synthetic is a little more expensive, but the costs of repairs would be alot more.
well that all depends on how you maintain it. As to how switch there really isn't anything. Just drain it and and fill it with synthetic it does help. You still need to regularly change it like if it was the regular oil.

How do you clean up hair dirty with oil?

My wife used oil by mistake to wash her hair. Then, he tried to clean it up with H %26amp; S shampoo 5 times but she couldn't. What can she do? Oil is still there. How do you clean up hair dirty with oil?
use dish soap it will not hurt her hair and it will get all the oil out for her. also when my hair feels really weighed down after a couple of weeks of washing and styling i use it every now and then to ';strip'; all the buildup out of it.How do you clean up hair dirty with oil?
Use talcum powder on dry hair - sprinkle on head and rub into scalp - this will absorb the oil. Then use a shampoo for oily hair to wash out the powder. This should get rid of it.
Put alot of baby powder or talc on her hair and rub it through. Then try to wash that out. Let the powder absorb the oil.
I use a Tar-based shampoo like Denorex, leave it on for 5 minutes....and I wash it at least 3 times....and I finished off with a cider vinegar rinse!!!
I would never recommend it for everyday use but ...

    Dawn dishwashing liquid.

Wet hair, use a good palmful of Dawn and massage well into the scalp area, then work it into the strands and down the length of the hair. Let it sit for a few minutes, working it well into the hair. Rinse. Wash with normal shampoo, and then use a heavy conditioner along the length of the hair, especially on the ends. The Dawn should cut any remaining oil, the shampoo should help to rebalance the hair's pH, and the conditioner will help recondition the ';stripped'; hair.

    Good luck!
First, remove the oil from the shower!!!

Try using baby powder to absorb up the oil and then wash the following day with a shampoo for oily hair.
How does one mistake oil for shampoo? And what the heck was oil doing in the bathtub?
I wouldn't sweat it. Most ALL shampoos are designed to remove oil or oily substances. It may take repeated washes but any common shampoo will do the job. Don't do anything drastic, this happens to mechanics all the time when they work on vehicles.
The talcum powder should work, however she should brush most of out before washing. Also, if it is still extremely oily after the talcum powder treatment she should repeat the treatment 2 or three times before washing.
Go see a hair dresser....she will have a product that will get the oil out.......

    ekkkk...good luck!!
Wash it with dish soap - try Dawn
